Scholarships Awarding for the First Time in 2026

Allen ‘Bus’ Augenstein Memorial Scholarship Fund
Honors Allen “Bus” Augenstein and supports River Valley seniors and graduates pursuing careers in engineering, health care, or education (particularly science education). Preference is given to students in band, choir, FFA, or sports, especially golf and cross country.

Frericks Family Scholarship Fund
Honors Thomas & Patricia Frericks and the family’s Catholic faith, supporting Marion County students in the top 10 percent of their class who plan to attend a Catholic college or university and were actively involved in extracurriculars.

Jim & Gerry Weston Scholarship Fund
Memorializes James E. and Geraldine I. Weston and supports Ridgedale High School seniors and graduates active in extracurricular activities, especially sports, cheerleading, FFA, and choir.

Kevin Boblenz Memorial Scholarship Fund
Created by Mason & Sidney Clark in memory of Kevin Boblenz, honoring his 30+ year career as a farmer and ag teacher and his passion for education and agriculture.

Marion Rotary Club’s William L. Young Scholarship Fund
Honors Bill Young and supports Marion County seniors pursuing music or attending Ohio Wesleyan University, his alma mater, where he was a reed player.

Robert McBeth Scholarship Fund
Honors the late Robert McBeth and supports students in the Medical Laboratory Technology program at MTC.
