Our Newest Charitable Funds

LEGACY Summer 2026 | We welcome the following new funds at Marion Community Foundation. Further details on these and each of the 550+ funds can be found on our website under the GIVE tab.

KEVIN BOBLENZ MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND | Created by Mason & Sidney Clark in memory of Kevin Boblenz, honoring his 30+ year career as a farmer and ag teacher and his passion for education and agriculture.

ED CRAWFORD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR RIVER VALLEY STUDENTS | The scholarship supports River Valley seniors pursuing higher education, with an emphasis on character, perseverance, and financial need—reflecting the values Ed championed throughout his life.

EDEM EKPAT ANCESTRY FUND | Created by Dr. Noel & Maria Eboh, the Edem Ekpat Ancestry Fund supports residents of the village of Edam Ekpat in Nigeria. It’s grants support community development projects in Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Eboh’s homeland, and Nigerian students of Umo-eboh ancestry.

ERIE LACKAWANNA RAILROAD HISTORICAL SOCIETY ARCHIVES FUND | Created by Richard Behrendt, the Erie Lackawanna Railroad Historical Society Archives Fund supports historical preservation of archives of the former Erie Lackawanna Railroad.

BILL & KATHY ISLER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND | Supports students active in Marion County 4-H, FFA, and the Marion County Junior Fair.

MTCF BLOSSOM SOLAR SCHOLARSHIP FUND | Supporting scholarships for engineering students at MTC.

MTCF MERLE & PEG HAMILTON VETERANS FUND | Supporting scholarships for student veterans and active duty military at MTC.
