New Funds in Early 2025

Larry & Elaine Merchant Arts Fund
The Larry & Elaine Merchant Arts Fund is a non-endowed field of interest fund, created to support the arts in Marion. It honors Elaine’s tenure as director of the Marion Palace Theatre and the couple’s love of the arts.


Marion Technical College Foundation
Marion Technical College Foundation continues its tradition of honoring supporters of the College and providing scholarships for its students. They recently added three new agency funds to the 50+ they have established with Marion Community Foundation.

MCTF: Alluvial Scholarship
Alluvial Private Wealth is an investment firm located in downtown Marion; it supports a scholarship for business students.

MCTF: Culver Family
This fund supports the Dale & B. Joann Smith Culver Scholarship for second-year business students from Marion and Wyandot counties.

MTCF: Jane Rayner Galyk
Jane Galyk was a long-time employee of MTC, serving generations of students for nearly 30 years. This fund supports a scholarship in her name for second-year students age 25 and older.
