Steve Rinesmith Family Charitable Fund

Steve Rinesmith created this charitable fund in 2025 in appreciation for his sister’s 23+ year career with Marion Community Foundation. Diana Rinesmith has been the Foundation’s Operations Manager since 2001.

“She’s been telling me for years about Marion Community Foundation,” Steve said. “It’s a good program and a great opportunity. My strong faith is my reason for wanting to give back.”

Steve currently resides in Zanesfield, but was born and raised in Marion. He attended Harding High School and The Ohio State University.

Steve has a background in engineering and made a 30+ year career with Honda. He now divides his time between being a caregiver for his mother, options trading in the stock market, and his newest passion, repairing and reselling used cars (primarily, and not surprisingly, Hondas).

Through this non-endowed donor advised fund, Steve will be able to support community causes important to him, including his church and education.
