Smith-Brown Family Fund

Created by the children of Paul and Lois Smith—Susan Brown and Bill Smith—this field of interest fund honors multiple generations of their families. It awards grants annually, favoring organizations and programs which address neurological diseases and disorders.

Paul and Lois, who enjoyed 40+ years of marriage, were life-long residents of Marion County. Together they worked the family farm, 180 acres in the Meeker area. Additionally, Paul was a carpentry millwright and Lois a registered nurse. The couple was devoted to their faith and family.

Having instilled in their children the spirit of giving, Paul and Lois inspired the Smith-Brown Family Fund. With it Bill and Susie seek to support and honor their parents and enable future generations of the family to continue to support the needs of the Marion area in perpetuity.
