Shuster-Benedict Family Fund

This legacy designated fund was created in 2024 by David Shuster, a Marion native and graduate of Harding High School. Dave studied public relations at Bowling Green State University and graduated in 1977. After working 43 years in retail, and motivated to get involved after volunteering with various foot pantries for many years and connecting with the stories of the families they served, he began managing the Marion St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and thrift store. Dave is an active member of St. Mary Parish in Marion, serving on the Parish Council and in numerous liturgical roles. Not surprisingly, the designees of Dave’s fund are St. Mary Parish and St. Vincent de Paul.
