Roger L. Baker & Cora M. Baker Scholarship Fund

In 2024, the estate of Cora Baker created a substantial scholarship for the benefit of students of North Union High School in Richwood (Ohio).

Cora “Peggy” (Williams) Baker (1946-2023) was born and raised in Rio Grande, Ohio, and married Roger in 1968. The two were adventurous hard workers who built successful careers while continuing both family’s tradition in farming. Roger (1946-2020) was a lifelong educator at North Union.

Peggy’s wit and humor were legendary, as was her outrageous spunk and knack for fashion. She loved arts and crafts and gift giving. Paired with Roger’s kind heart and infectious laughter, the couple was truly a pleasure to be around.
