Pleasant Schools Endowment Fund

For many years, Pleasant Local Schools has been an active partner with Marion Community Foundation. Their board, boosters, and community members have created many funds at the Foundation and have been forward-thinking about endowments. This fund, created by school board member Annette Holler and former Marion Community Foundation board member Megan Queen, in 2023 is a designated fund to support teachers at the Pleasant Local Schools. It makes awards similar to funds in our TEACH Grants Program, but is not competitive; rather, it will provide every teacher in the Pleasant district with an equal share of the grant distribution each year to be used in the teachers’ classrooms.
