Pleasant Academic Boosters Scholarship Fund
The Pleasant Academic Boosters Scholarship Fund was created by members of the Pleasant Academic Boosters organization to recognize and promote high academic achievement at Pleasant High School. Annual awards from this fund are made to Pleasant High School seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA to attend the college of their choice.
Pleasant High School has an enrollment of approximately 400 students and has earned an “Excellent Rating” on the State Report Card (passing every state indicator) every year for the past 15 years. In addition to the traditional course offerings, Pleasant offers dual enrollment (courses taken for both high school and college credit) in calculus, advanced biology, chemistry, physics, advanced government and politics, and western civilization. Additional higher-level offerings include AP Senior English, and AP Art as well as offering four years of both French and Spanish.
Pleasant has one of the largest Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) contingencies at The Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College among juniors and seniors of any area school.
