Jody Demo-Hodgins Family Fund
This field of interest fund was created by Board member Jody Demo-Hodgins in Marion Community Foundation’s 25th anniversary year (2023). As the former executive director of Marion’s ADAMH Board, Jody is a great advocate for those suffering from mental illness and drug and alcohol addiction in Marion County. Her endowment supports programs and organizations for alcohol and other drug prevention programming, mental health treatment, and mental health wellness programming in Marion County (Ohio), especially those who demonstrate evidence-based programs or promising programs.
Jody retired in 2016 after 27 years with the Crawford-Marion Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services, and after 40 years in the social services field. She began her career with ADAMH in 1989 and was promoted to executive director in 1997. She and her family have called Marion home since 1978. She was the 2015 recipient of the Athena Award by the Marion Women’s Business Council. She epitomizes empathy, love, and respect for others.
