Evelyn E. Walter Foundation Fund

Created in 2011, the Evelyn E. Walter Foundation Fund migrated to Marion Community Foundation. It was formerly a private foundation which sought to support mental health services and recreational and resource services for persons with mental health issues.

Unfortunately, little biographical information was left to us about Evelyn, except that she passed in the 1980s and was known for her avid love of horses. The Fund has regularly supported women’s organizations in Marion.
