Chivington Family Scholarship Fund

Dean and Lu Chivington created this endowed scholarship fund with a gift from their IRA. It supports seniors or graduates of Marion County high schools who have been active participants in high school wrestling. While Marion Community Foundation has a number of sports-related scholarship funds, this is the first scholarship that is specific to wrestling.

Dean Chivington is retired from a long-time management position at Honda in Marysville. Lu is a Harding and OSU graduate and a real estate agent in Marion for more than 43 years.
