Beverly S. Young Fund

The Beverly S. Young Fund is a donor advised fund created in 2004. Bev made a 40-year career with the Marion Area Counseling Center, beginning as a therapist in 1977 and culminating as MACC’s executive director when she retired in 2015. During her tenure, MACC grew from a staff of 12 to 80, serving the mental and behavioral health needs of the Marion community.

In retirement, Bev remains civically active, with a particular heart for Junior Service Guild’s Christmas Clearinghouse and serving as the toy chairperson.

Her fund makes grants annually to a variety of community causes which she cares about, including support for counseling services, housing, victims’ assistance, children’s causes, and the arts. The Young Fund welcomes additional donations.
