MTC Connections Center
College can be challenging, and Marion Technical College’s Connections Center exists to ensure students never face those challenges alone. The Connections Center provides practical assistance, encouragement, and vital resources to help students stay focused on learning and on track toward their goals. Thanks to generous support from the Dr. Robert & Christine Haas Family Fund at Marion Community Foundation, these services continue to grow and meet rising needs.

The Center offers essential services focused on stability and well-being. A cornerstone of its offerings is the fully stocked Marion Campus Food Pantry, operated in conjunction with the Buckeye Food Alliance and the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. The pantry makes healthy, shelf-stable food readily accessible.
The Connections Center’s vital programs, including the food pantry and specialized staff assistance, are sustained through dedicated community partnerships. Funding from donations and grants – like Marion Community Foundation – ensures that resources remain free and confidential for those in need, underpinning the Center’s ability to help the Marion community thrive.
Staffed by dedicated professionals, the Center provides face-to-face assistance for a wide array of non-academic issues like transportation, housing, childcare options, financial literacy, professional attire, and substance use stabilization.
Students needing immediate support can access help via the resource request form online. The community can support the food pantry’s mission by donating much-needed items like canned proteins, shelf-stable milk, oats, hygiene products, or by shopping at Kroger and selecting the Campus Food Pantry via the Community Rewards Program (Organization Code: JF297).
The Connections Center is more than a resource; it is a commitment to removing barriers and fostering student success.
