Taft Middle School Music Department Scholarship Fund

Intended to promote the musical arts, this scholarship, created in 2003, makes awards to students who participated in band, orchestra, or choir while attending Marion Harding High School. Special consideration is particularly given to those enrolled in band, orchestra, and choir for all four years of high school.

The Taft Middle School Music Department Scholarship supports the educational goals of students who live in the district of the former Taft Middle School in Marion; specifically, those who attended 5th grade in one or more of the following elementary schools—Taft, Hayes, or the former Mark Street, Fairpark, Oak Street, Lincoln, or Silver Street schools—as well as Marion Harding High School.  Recipients must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or above.
