Raymond E. Bloomfield Memorial Fund

The Raymond E. Bloomfield Memorial Fund was created at Ray’s passing in 2025. It is a designated fund.
Originally from Vanceburg, KY, Ray (1942-2025) ventured to Ohio at the young age of 16. He worked several factory jobs and, under the guidance and apprenticeship of Harold Buhler, learned masonry and carpentry — later starting his own businesses, H & B Masonry and M & R Rentals.
Ray held long-time memberships in St. Mary Catholic Church, Rotary, Marion Area Rental Association and the Gyro Club, but was especially proud of 48 years and 9 months in AA. He loved to play golf and games, especially cards, and enjoyed his winters in Florida. He also enjoyed precious time at his cabin in Kentucky and gospel music.
