Marion YMCA Endowment Fund

The Marion YMCA Endowment Fund was the first organizational endowment fund (also known as an agency fund), created in 2000 by the organization’s Board of Trustees to support the Y’s charitable, educational, and public purposes.

Since its founding in 1892, the Marion YMCA has been developing the potential of youth, helping one another improve well-being, and giving back to the community. The programs and services of the Y serve to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

The Marion Family YMCA has been in its current Barks Road location since 2004. Through this 88,000 square foot facility, the YMCA helps youth reach their potential, aids individuals and families in improving their well-being, and provides opportunities for people to give back and support their Marion neighbors.
