Lois & Nicholas Fisher Family Fund

Well-known in the community, Lois and Nick started this donor advised fund in 2023. Lois has been a leader in the redevelopment and reinvigoration of downtown Marion, starting many years ago when she started buying buildings and turning them into beautiful residential and business lofts. She renovated many other street-level buildings and spaces. Along with other large office buildings downtown, one of her most prominent purchases and restorations/renovations was the former Harding Hotel. Thanks to her, that beautiful building was saved from the wrecking ball and is a community gem.

Lois is of the prime movers in Downtown Marion, Inc. and a past president. Marion owes a debt of gratitude to Lois. She hopes to continue paying forward her good fortune by establishing and growing this endowment fund at Marion Community Foundation.
