Linda & Mike Rizzo Scholarship Fund

Created in 2022, the Linda & Mike Rizzo Scholarship Fund provides awards to students entering either the field of education — in memory of
Mike (1948-2021), a long-time educator in the Marion City Schools — or the field of radiography and associated fields, which was Linda’s professional career.
Linda is the daughter of Norman and Mary Ellen Withrow, well-known Marion residents. Mike managed the Whetstone Country Club Pool and was known for his great sense of humor. He served in Viet Nam, earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and his Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. Mike was a sports enthusiast and excelled in golf and bowling. He and Linda have two daughters — both educators — and two grandchildren.
