Kory Kirkpatrick Memorial Scholarship Fund
Created in 2014, the Kory Kirkpatrick Memorial Scholarship Fund is an endowed fund which provides scholarships to Marion Harding High School seniors who participated on the school’s varsity basketball or golf teams. The fund is in memory of Kory Kirkpatrick, who in 2011, at the age of 21, died in an automobile crash.
Roger Jury, head coach of the Harding High School boys’ basketball team when Kory was a player, praised the three-time captain and two-time Presidential Award winner, as one of those players who demonstrate “integrity, honesty, and doing things right on and off the court.”
Recipients of the Kirkpatrick Scholarship will have attended Harding all four years of their high school experience and rank in the top 25th percentile of their graduating class.
