Jacob Pfeiffer & Kevin Pfeiffer Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Jacob Pfeiffer & Kevin Pfeiffer Memorial Scholarship memorializes the lives of two brothers lost at early ages to car accidents—Kevin at age 8 and Jacob at 19.
Their father and fund creator Wendell Pfeiffer wanted to do something good in Marion County and something good for his boys. He describes Kevin as a terrific kid who loved playing ball and riding horses. Jacob, he said, was a graduate of Pleasant High School and a sophomore in college when he passed at the age of 19.
“I miss them. I love them,” said Wendell. “I want to do something good in Marion County and good for my boys, so they’ll be remembered.”
Their scholarship supports students from Ridgedale and Pleasant high schools, the schools the Pfeiffer boys attended. Recipients will have attended one of those schools for their entire high school experience and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
