Gary & Mary Ann Ferriman Fund

The Gary & Mary Ann Ferriman Fund is a non-endowed donor advised fund created in 2023 by the Ferrimans to fulfill their charitable giving goals. Donor advised funds allow the donors to be actively involved in making recommendations for grants from their fund for causes which are important to them.

The Ferrimans are life-long Marion residents who want to support the community that has made a difference in their and their children’s lives. They favor programs and organizations which assist small businesses and community services.

Gary started his career at the Marion Power Shovel before opening TV Outlet, the predecessor to their current business, Showplace Rent-to-Own. Mary Ann worked for Midwest Lettering and Sunset Cash Advance, while helping at Showplace.

The couple are avid motorcycle enthusiasts and boaters, being especially partial to Cumberland and Norris lakes. They have four adult children, 11 grandchildren, and seven greats. Their spirit of entrepreneurship and gratefulness were both inspired by their parents, William & Katheen Ferriman and John & Mary Taylor.
