Freshour Family Scholarship Fund

The Freshour Family Scholarship Fund, created in 2019 by Eric and Mary Freshour, supports female seniors and graduates of Pleasant High School pursuing careers in STEM fields—science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine.  Recipients will have attended Pleasant High School in Marion all four years of their high school career and maintained a grade point average of 2.5 or greater.

Eric is a graduate of Pleasant High School and DePaw University where he studied economics. Both he and Mary have made their careers with West Monroe Partners, a technology consulting firm in the Chicago area. Eric is a senior manager in the firms’ Operations Excellence practice. He specializes in organizational alignment and organizational change management and works with an array of industries, including healthcare, energy and utilities, distribution and logistics, private equity, banking, and insurance.

Mary hails from the Blacklick area, graduating from Gahanna Lincoln High School and studying at the University of Sydney and Miami University.
