Daniel R. Russell Memorial Scholarship Fund
Daniel Robert Russell (1982-2024) prided himself in his work as a nurse. He worked as an RN at Mt. Carmel East Hospital and found his calling at Nationwide Children’s where he fell in love working in the pediatric ICU. He was a respected and admired nurse who will be remembered for his compassionate and caring work ethic.
Dan loved the outdoors, particularly fishing, was a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals, and an avid lover of Legos. His children picked up that love and had numerous sets on display in their home, including a small version of the Millennium Falcon and gifts of Lego flowers for his wife.
Following his passing from cancer, Dan’s family — his wife, Lindsay, and children, Emmett, Wyatt, and Evie, parents and siblings — established the Daniel R. Russell Memorial Scholarship Fund to provide college scholarship for future nursing students.
