Child Care Choices Fund
The Child Care Choices Fund was created in 2013 as a field of interest fund. The principal for the fund was a gift of the Child Care Choices board, given from the assets of the organization when it ceased operation.
Child Care Choices, formerly based in Galion, Ohio, was a referral agency for child care services in Marion and Crawford counties.
The Child Care Choices Fund generates grants which support child care providers, certified and/or licensed family child care homes, and licensed child care programs – as recognized by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services or the Ohio Department of Education.
Grants from this fund support program and staff development in the field of child care and may be provided for the purchase of curricula materials, playground equipment, or classroom materials which focus on literacy, math, and science. Awards are also available to support staff development.
