Caden Ruth Fund
As part of an update to their estate plans, Arden and Sherry Ruth decided to honor their son, Caden Ruth, with this legacy field of interest fund. Caden has autism and requires full-time assistance to participate in vocational, recreational and social activities.
His family marvels (and sometimes chuckles) at Caden’s orderly and routine ways. One daily thing that cannot be skipped no matter the weather, time of day, or busyness is a ride on the gator. Many miles have been logged by dad, mom and Caden to relax at the end of the day.
Arden and Sherry are grateful for the full-time caregivers that help Caden and them with life. This grant fund, created in 2023, is one small way they can eliminate barriers for others in the future. It will support and fund programs and organizations in Marion County, Ohio, that benefit either youth activities, particularly in agriculture (for example, but not limited to, 4-H and FFA), or people with developmental disabilities. Special consideration may be given to helping remove financial barriers for youth to fully participate in such activities (but not limited to), summer camps, trips, competitions, and similar programs and projects.
