Bill & Kathy Isler Family Scholarship Fund

Created in 2026 by family members, this scholarship fund honors the late Bill Isler and the family he and Kathy shared, as well as the Isler family legacy in Marion County agriculture. This family-oriented fund was established by children Nathan Isler, David Isler, Scott Isler, Amanda Street and other members of the Isler family.
Scholarship awards from the Isler Fund support students active in Marion County 4-H and FFA for three or more years. Additionally, recipients will have been active exhibitors with the Marion County Junior Fair. Leadership roles and commitment and dedication to 4-H, FFA, and the Junior Fair are important considerations.
Bill Isler (1945-2024) was a 1963 graduate of Elgin High School, where he was FFA President, and The Ohio State University. He was active with the Elgin Alumni Association for many years. He served his country in the US Army.

His work and dedication was recognized through induction into the Ohio State Animal Science Hall of Fame, Ohio State Fair Hall of Fame, and Ohio State Swine Hall of Fame. He was active with the Ohio Duroc Association, past-president of the National SPF Association, and served on the Prospect Farmers Exchange Board for many years.
